Aging is a normal part of the developmental process. Human beings need peers with whom they can interact and who are available as a source of encouragement and support. A person’s sense of well-being is enhanced when one obtains a balance and satisfaction in the various personal components such as emotional, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual. Members and volunteers form the backbone of the Centre. As a multi-purpose Senior Centre, the mission is to improve and enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of citizens in Carman and the surrounding area, with emphasis on seniors. The Centre offers health and wellness programs, education programs, social events, and support groups.
