Health Checks consists of community organizations, researchers, health professionals, governments and individuals who work to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate an in-person event, website, or virtual presentations to showcase health and wellness information, screens, services, and activities in Brandon and surrounding area. Health Checks was recognized by the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing Progress Report 2021-2023 Case Study Hub. We were recognized for 3 pillars of the Decade: addressing Ageism, Age Friendly Communities and Primary Care. Our event is FREE to anyone who wishes to attend either the In-person or Virtual activities.
