Gimli New Horizons 55+ Centre

Our Mission Statement
The Centre will be an asset to the community by providing a pleasant place for recreation, relaxation and companionship and by encouraging all members to remain active and socially connected while maintaining their physical and mental health.

The Centre was incorporated in 1974 as a not-for-profit charitable organization. From humble but determined beginnings our membership has grown up to around 500 members each year.
Our facility features a Grand Room that seats well up to 200 people. We also have three other rooms that we rent out to private or business groups for their functions.
We have hosted many popular events like our Annual Fall Supper and the Icelandic Celebration Pancake Breakfast.

We provide our members with several social opportunities each year in the form of Dances, Dinners and Other Special Occasions to help keep them socially active.
